If you see this film playing near you, RUSH to see it! It starts slowly and takes a shattering turn about a tenth of the way in. The rest keeps you on the edge. This lost girl/woman with Down syndrome encounters a world she has never been in or understood. There is an aura of fear beneath the surface that keeps you alert to some tragedy that will befall her as she navigates Buenos Aires’ streets, lost, with no money or people who know who she is. Yet her blind faith in people she meets brings out qualities you wouldn’t imagine, so there is the yin/yang side of what you see, hear and feel as the story moves forward.
The acting, music and story are of the highest quality.
